ATHLETIC REGISTRATION

MOUNTAIN VIEW ATHLETIC REGISTRATION

The Thompson School District has switched to an online athletic registration platform - Planet HS. Please follow the instructions that apply to you.


IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN SPORTS DURING OR AFTER THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR AT MVHS:

Athletic Registration Instructions for Returning Athletes (PAGE 3)

  • Planet HS - update any information that may have changed, such as, insurance, emergency contacts, or uploading a new physical. 
  • Physical Exam Form (also available in Planet HS) 
  • Pay MVHS Athletic Fees Here (also available in Planet HS)
    • First-time football players will also need to pay the one-time MVHS Football Equipment Fee ($150) 

If you are approved for the free and reduced meal program, please email a copy of your approval letter to Heather Kahl in the MVHS Athletic office


IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST YEAR PLAYING SPORTS AT MVHS:

  • Planet HS - create both a student and parent account, then complete athletic forms for each

IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND MVHS, BUT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR ATHLETICS BECAUSE YOUR SCHOOL DOESN'T OFFER THEM:

***This applies to Home School, CEC, Goal Academy or Other Non-TSD Enrolled Student Athlete (attend another school without a program).


IF YOU TRANSFERRED TO MVHS IN THE LAST 365 DAYS: 
  • Contact the MVHS Athletic office for more assistance
    • Heather Kahl, Athletics and Activities Secretary 970-613-7826  
  • Transfer students may not compete until the CHSAA Application Transfer Eligibility form has been approved by CHSAA
  • The required form that you need to complete is in Planet HS 

HS ATHLETIC FEES:

  • $175 - TSD HS Enrolled ($400 family maximum per family per school year)
  • $225 - Non TSD HS Enrolled 
  • $150 football equipment fee for all first-time participants.  The football equipment fee does NOT count towards the family maximum.
  • Students on the free/reduced lunch program may request a waiver from this fee.  Please email a copy of your approved free and reduced meal program letter to Heather Hahl

INSURANCE COVERAGE:

In compliance with school district policy, every student participating in an organized athletic program must be covered by appropriate medical/accident insurance.  If you do not have insurance, please click here for K and K Insurance to enroll.
