COMPETITIVE TEAM TRYOUTS

Boys basketball tryouts for fall 2013 and winter 2014 will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013 @ MVHS gym.

Grade 6 –  9:00-10:30

Grade 7 – 10:00-11:30

Grade 8 – 11:00-12:30

• FEES:  $175.00 for fall season--includes uniform. (Additional fee for winter season---generally less because there is no uniform fee for winter season.)  A $100 deposit is due the day of tryouts (refundable if your child does not make a team). Remainder of fees are due prior to first practice.
• DATES: Fall Season: October 20-November 24.  Winter season: Jan/Feb.
• PRACTICES: 1-2 times per week depending upon gym availability. Day/time/location varies by team.
• GAMES: Games played on Sundays (6 weeks--12 games--per season) in Northern Colorado (ie. Greeley, Loveland, Berthoud...) Parents are expected to transport players to and from games.
• UNIFORMS: Players will wear their Jr. Lions team uniform (price included in fall fee) and appropriate basketball shoes.
• COACHES: Coaches are volunteers with basketball knowledge/experience. Coaches still needed for some teams.  Contact us ASAP if interested.
